Better than the first one regarding the left crop but a bit worst regarding the lower crop. Its too tight, you chopped of some of the chin! Its also a bit overexposed. I liked the eye position!
You had a nice idea, but IMO you need to work a bit more in the composition and don't chop parts of her (unless there's a reason regarding the conceptual idea of the series).

I like the eyes too. The contrast works for me, not every photo has to be perfect on whites.
